Lira OOD was registered in 2001 in the town of Targovishte. Its core activity is the manufacture of articles upon client request – machine equipment and facilities, spare parts and custom products of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. All products of the Lira brand are highly reliable due to the careful selection of raw materials and continual quality control. Science research, innovations and training are at the core of the continuous progress of the company and the implementation of new ideas in the field of machine-building. The company is ISO 9001:2008 certified, which is a guarantee of the continuously rising operational standards in the company.

In the past 5 years, processing and production of details of engineering plastics has become an important part of the manufacturing process. In 2009, the company invested in the building of a specialized manufacturing workshop for processing engineering plastics. More than 10 machines have been included in the processes of milling, turning, welding and constructing the details and facilities.

In the end of 2012, the production range of the company was extended with the processing of copper alloys. A separate hall was built, where specially trained technologists and engineers perform the design, processing and control of technological routes.

The company gives priority to: the improvement of the material base, enhancing the quality of the manufacturing process, implementing new technologies and introduction of software systems for control, design and optimization of the manufacturing process.
